Cathey Massey received her bachelors degree from Louisiana State University and her masters degree from Vanderbilt University. She is licensed by New York State and has her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. She also has her Permanent Certification as a Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Impaired. She has worked in Onondaga and Madison counties providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to children from infancy to age five years. Cathey specializes in working with children with a wide range of communication needs including receptive/expressive language delays and disorders, articulation/phonology delays and disorders, fluency disorders, and oral motor and feeding concerns. She has experience working with children with a variety of medical diagnoses including numerous syndromes, seizure disorders, cerebral palsy, prematurity, Autism Spectrum Disorder, severe developmental delays, apraxia and cleft palate.
