Jennifer Butera received her Master’s degree in physical therapy from SUNY Upstate Health Science Center in Syracuse, NY in 1998. She is licensed to practice in New York State, and is a member of the Pediatric and Orthopedic Sections of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). She is a Pediatric Clinical Specialist. She is certified in Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT) and is a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner. She has extensive continuing education in the areas of NDT, sensory integration, pediatric orthopedics and biomechanics, taping, autism, praxis, and baby treatment. Jennifer has experience working with children who have motor limitations ranging from mildly delayed to severely involved. She has worked with children with a variety of diagnoses, which include neurological issues, musculoskeletal issues, genetic syndromes, sensory integration dysfunction, and general developmental delays. Jennifer is the Academic Coordinator of Clinical Education (ACCE) and has been a Clinical Instructor for many students at CTN. She is also currently the Physical Therapy Supervisor/Mentor at Children’s Therapy Network.
