Christine received her Master of Science in Physical Therapy degree in 2001. She is a graduate of College Misericordia in Dallas, PA. She is licensed to practice in New York State and has worked as a school based physical therapist in New Jersey from 2001-2008.
Erick Schwartz - Co-Owner
Erick Schwartz has been providing physical therapy services for children since 1994. He is a graduate of the State University at Buffalo. Erick is a founder and owner of Children’s Therapy Network. He has advanced training in the areas of; lower extremity biomechanics (assessment and treatment), splinting, serial casting, sensory integration training, NDT trained, Kenisio taping, and he is an infant massage instructor. Erick practices therapy in a variety of locations including, schools, daycares and families’ homes. He also provides services at CTN’s facility.
Chris Powell has been providing Early Intervention and Pre-School physical therapy services since 1996. He is a NYS licensed physical therapist that received his Bachelor of Science degree from St. Bonaventure University and a Master in Physical Therapy degree from Gannon University. He is Neuro-Developmental Treatment(NDT) trained and has completed continuing education in the areas of NDT, motor learning, sensory integration disorders, and autism and autism spectrum disorders. He has treatment experience in infants and children with a variety of genetic, musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. Chris enjoys his work with children and families in home settings, pre-schools,daycares, and in the community or facility.
Kristine has been providing physical therapy services for children since 1989. She received her Bachelors degree in physical therapy from Ohio State University, and has been licensed to practice in New York State since 1996. Kristine has worked in settings ranging from a children’s hospital, to homes and preschools, to a village in Africa. She has completed continuing education courses in NDT-based therapy, sensory integration, autism, seating and mobility, motor control, balance, yoga, and apraxia/dyspraxia.
Kristen received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy as well as her Bachelor of Science degrees from Daemen College. She is licensed to practice in New York State. Previous to coming to work for Children’s Therapy Network Kristen practiced in an outpatient orthopedic clinic specializing in the McKenzie method for back and neck pain, vestibular treatment, dance and sports injuries, as well as aquatic physical therapy. Kristen has brought her previous background and applied it to pediatric physical therapy working with children from birth to school age. She has experience working with children with a variety of diagnosis including, but not limited to, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, various genetic disorders, gross motor delay, and issues related to impairments of sensory integration, coordination, and balance.
